Lenses are now indispensable for industrial equipment in a wide range of fields, and their roles, functions and resolution are constantly increasing. With the rapid evolution of sensor technology, there are now many needs that cannot be met with conventional industrial lenses, such as 3D inspection that combines lighting and shutters. For example, in the surveillance field, we have developed a lens that can obtain high-resolution images across the entire area from the center of the screen to the periphery, in a system that uses AI to perform facial recognition after ROI processing. In the machine vision market, we have also developed a lens dedicated to spectral imaging.
